‘Producing images is a way of drawing territorial lines. A stubborn attempt to leave traces in the enemy zone,’ Wiktor Skok writes about his project. His videos use found materials, recorded from TV, cuts from films and mixed with his own recordings. ‘If there are any traces of method, my approach is the equivalent of how music/noise is made. I treat images and sound in exactly the same way.’ Wiktor Skok has curated both musical and visual arts projects. He also promotes industrial concerts and events. Since the mid-80s he has been an active participant in the punk/hardcore scene, and has also organized the Wunder Wave concert series since 1989. He is a founding member and vocalist for the band Jude (since 1993) and a dj mainly active in the underground electro-industrial scene.
